THE STREET COMP

FAQ

What is Street Comp?

Street Comp is a season-long competition inside CityLegends, built around multiple tournaments in each street sports discipline. Professional athletes act as judges, while points are awarded based on performance throughout the competition.

Points from each tournament accumulate on a live leaderboard. At the end of the season, the athlete with the highest total in each discipline wins that sport’s Grand Prize.
This is not a one-time event. It’s a competitive season built on progression, ranking and consistency.

How does the season work?

Each discipline includes 3 tournaments throughout the season. Every tournament has a qualifying round and 4 weekly knockout rounds with 16 athletes.

After every tournament:
- Points are awarded
- The leaderboard updates
- Rankings shift
- Your total points carry over from one tournament to the next.

After the final tournament, the athlete with the highest overall total in their discipline wins the season and takes that sport’s Grand Prize.

How do I participate?

1. Create a CityLegends account
2. Join an active Street Comp tournament
3. Upload your clip during the qualification round
4. Get enough likes to qualify for the knockout rounds
5. Compete weekly in head-to-head battles until the finals
6. Track your points and stay ready for the next tournament.

Miss a tournament and your chances drop. Points stack across the season. Consistency wins.

How does scoring work?

Scoring works in rounds.
Each round consists of a 3-day upload phase, followed by 4 days of judging. In the first round, qualification is driven by likes, and the top 16 move into the knockout rounds. From there, professional athletes judge each round based on the tournament rules and decide who advances. Every round you pass earns you points. If you get eliminated, your tournament ends with the points you reached.

What is the leaderboard?

The leaderboard tracks the total points accumulated across the season. Each tournament awards points based on your final position, which are added to the leaderboard for that skill. Every discipline has its own leaderboard.

It shows:
- Current ranking
- Title contenders
- Pressure zones
- Who needs to perform in the next tournament

The leaderboard updates after every tournament and shows who is in position to win the Grand Prize.
It is always visible on the @citylegendsofficial Instagram.

What is the Grand Prize?

Each sport has its own Grand Prize, which is a major cash reward given to the athlete of that specific sport with the highest total points at the end of the season.

Winning a single tournament does not guarantee the season title. The Grand Prize rewards consistency, performance and progression across the full season. It is also a symbol of skill, perseverance and recognition within the scene.

How often do tournaments happen?

Tournaments run approximately every 2 months.

After each tournament:
- Results are confirmed
- The leaderboard updates
- The next tournament date is announced

Street Comp is structured to keep momentum throughout the season.

Who are the judges?

Judges are professional or internationally recognized athletes from the street scene. Each tournament features 2 official judges.

They review key battles, react to performances and judge weekly during the knockout rounds. They decide who advances each round, but the season winner is decided by total points on the leaderboard.

Is this just about likes?

No.

Likes play a role during the qualification phase, but Street Comp combines:
- Community voting
- Official judging
- Knockout bracket progression

Season leaderboard pointsIt is a structured competition, not just popularity.

Battle Ranks

Battle Ranks are levels you can achieve by collecting Battle Points. Battle Points are earned by winning 1 vs. 1 Battles, participating in Tournaments or Challenges.  Your Battle Rank determines which Tournaments or Challenges you can participate in. It also influences the amount of Battle Points you get from a 1 vs 1 Battle. Battling a lower level Battle Rank than yours gets you less Battle Points then winning from somebody with a higher Battle Rank. Check 'Battle Points' to see how many Battle Points you can win or lose.

Battle Points

Battle Points are earned in CityLegends with "Battle Activities." 1 vs 1 Battles, Tournaments and Challenges, for example. By earning Battle Points, you eventually become a higher Battle Rank.
