Louvain-La-Neuve is the youngest town in Belgium (built in the 70’s). The young town is almost car free which is great for parkour. Freerunning is the ultimate expression of urban athleticism, in this town you’ll find all the obstacles you need for a dope parkour terrain. Such as many different types of natural obstacles, brick walls, obstacle courses, you name it! Louvain-La-Neuve is an absolute legendary spot for freerunners! LOUVAIN-LA-NEUVE - THE GREEN PARKOUR SPOT TO BE

The new town is focused on keeping it green, how cool? There are a lot of natural objects which you can use for parkour. The cool rule of allowing little to no cars in town makes Louvain-La-neuve one of the greenest and safest freerunning spots. You will never bump in to a car in the middle of a trick! Only a bunch students and maybe some people on bikes or BMX’s. The local students are pretty lowkey and are often enjoying nature. This town is the best at having spots to practice cool tricks on natural terrain!

FREERUNNING SUMMER JAM OF LOUVAIN-LA-NEUVE

In summertime the town is packed with hyped freerunners because of the yearly summer jam! Organized especially for freerunners to give an opportunity to perform awesome tricks. The event allows you to fully use the variety of terrain throughout the town. In 2023 the jam took place on July 2nd, were you there? Freerunners aren’t the only people present. Tourists are big fans of this event as well. They come here just to see some dope parkour. So, explore spots and go crazy in Louvain-La-Neuve!

Throughout the year, local students enjoy a fair amount of freerunning as well. As parkour spots are often on campuses. The parkour community is very alive in Louvain-La-Neuve.
